If so, become an AmeriCorps*VISTA at Tufts University’ Tisch College of Citizenship and Public Service!
The 2014-215 MACC AmeriCorps*VISTA will work jointly with the Tisch College’s Director of Community Partnerships and the Director of the Center for STEM Diversity to develop a STEM Ambassadors community outreach program at Tufts University. Undergraduate STEM Ambassadors will work with their cohort to develop leadership and communications skills with the goal of successfully sharing their passion for STEM fields with local middle and high school students. The VISTA will lay the groundwork for this program by developing and deepening relevant partnerships and creating a sustainable, effective model for the program. Secondarily, the VISTA will take leadership in coordinating college access visits.
